Since 2012, Titan has designed, fabricated, lined, and repaired production and safety equipment for mining and industrial customers across North America. Our engineers, fabricators, and coatings team work under one roof in Chandler, so you'll see your designs go from model to finished equipment in our shop. We solve problems most shops won't take on, and we give our team room to contribute beyond a narrow job description.
What You'll Do
- Design custom mining and industrial equipment from concept through final assembly and fabrication drawings in SolidWorks
- Modify and update existing models and drawing packages
- Nest parts for cutting and prepare material take-offs
- Work directly with our fabrication and industrial coatings teams to make designs buildable
- Collaborate with project engineers on design development and project management
- Take part in peer design reviews
- Find and suggest improvements to our design and production processes
- Travel occasionally to customer mine sites for field measurements, scanning, and installation support
What You Bring
- 2+ years of hands-on SolidWorks experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license (for mine-site travel)
Nice to Have
- Weldments, multibody parts, and fabrication drawing experience
- 3D scanning experience (Artec Studio, Geomagic Design X)
- Background in heavy steel fabrication, mining, or industrial equipment
