Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) is seeking a skilled BA/Project Manager - M365 Team Leadtomanage both operational and project-based work for the M365 team using Kanban methodology. This role combines Scrum Master facilitation with hands-on project management to ensure efficient delivery of services and initiatives across Microsoft 365 platforms and related enterprise tools.

Responsibilities

Scrum Master/Agile Facilitation

  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and ensure team alignment on priorities.
  • Manage Kanban board, ensuring workflow optimization and WIP (Work in Progress) limits.
  • Remove impediments and blockers to team productivity.
  • Coach team members on Agile/Kanban best practices.
  • Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Project Management
  • Plan, execute, and deliver M365-related projects on time and within scope.
  • Develop project schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across IT and business units.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Operational Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operational work for M365 services.
  • Prioritize and triage incoming requests and incidents.
  • Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and operational metrics.
  • Coordinate maintenance windows and change management activities.
  • Support capacity planning and resource allocation.

Citizenship

  • US Citizenship

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT project management or Scrum Master roles
  • Proven track record managing both operational and project work simultaneously
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in a Kanban environment
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification (Preferred)
  • ITIL Foundation v4 (Preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot).
  • Email security and flow management, including Proofpoint.
  • Strong understanding of Kanban methodology and metrics.
  • Excellent facilitation and servant leadership abilities.
  • Experience with project management tools, including GitLab and Jira.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Risk management and problem-solving capabilities.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for M365 automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API.
  • Previous experience in hybrid cloud environments.
