The Role
As a Production Technician, you will help turn raw cannabis flower into finished products. You will work with a team to make, package, and label products while following safety rules and state regulations. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, and it’s important to pay attention to detail and work safely.
Responsibilities
- Help make cannabis products by following clear instructions
- Package and label products correctly
- Follow all safety and state rules at all times
- Check products for quality during the process
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Track products in the state system using a computer
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Communicate with your team and supervisors
- Help create a positive and respectful work environment
- Complete other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or food production is helpful but not required
- Cannabis experience is not required
- Able to follow instructions and accept feedback
- Able to work alone or with a team
- Comfortable doing repetitive tasks
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid state ID or driver’s license required
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to get and keep a state cannabis work badge
Working Conditions
- Standing or sitting for long periods
- Repetitive movements like bending and reaching
- Lifting up to 50 pounds when needed
- Working around strong smells and allergens like cannabis and tree nuts
