Are you looking for growth opportunities within senior tax management? One of our international clients is looking to add a Senior Tax Manager with proven experience overseeing a broad range of tax planning, compliance, and reporting initiatives across the organization. Primary duties for this role will consist of overseeing the international tax function and compliance, managing the tax team, assisting with tax provision calculation, audit management, coordinating/reviewing the preparation of federal tax returns, create and implement strategic tax planning, manage federal/state/local tax audits, and prepare financial statement tax disclosures as needed. To be successful in this role, the Senior Tax Manager will bring technical expertise along with the ability to translate complex tax requirements into efficient, scalable business processes.

What you get to do everyday

·Provide oversight and technical guidance for U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance activities

·Support the global income tax provision process under IFRS

·Oversee tax account reconciliations, journal entries, and tax-related financial statement disclosures, including rate reconciliations

·Review complex international tax calculations and reporting requirements

·Partner with tax advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance obligations are completed accurately and on schedule

·Develop standardized data models, reporting tools, and templates that minimize manual calculations and strengthen controls

·Work with ERP, accounting, and reporting systems to improve the extraction, organization, and analysis of tax-related data

·Drive modernization of tax processes by identifying opportunities to automate provision, compliance, and transfer pricing activities

·Contribute to strategic tax planning initiatives involving entity structuring, cross-border cash repatriation, M& A due diligence, and post-acquisition integration

·Evaluate proposed changes in tax legislation and international framework

·Identify opportunities to improve the company’s overall tax position while maintaining appropriate compliance and risk controls.

·Help manage the company’s global transfer pricing framework, including intercompany transactions

·Monitor intercompany agreements, cost-sharing arrangements, and transfer pricing methodologies

The ideal Sr. Tax Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.

Other requirements for the Sr. Tax Manager role include and are not limited to:

·10+ years of progressive tax experience within a medium- to large-sized public accounting firm and/or corporate tax environment

·Strong international tax experience is required

·Hands-on experience with tax provisions highly preferred

·Proven experience managing, mentoring, and developing tax professionals

·Power BI, OneSource or similar systems experience required
