Benson’s Pet Center is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations. If you're passionate about pets, enjoy developing teams, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of pet-loving associates.
• Drive sales through exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
• Manage daily store operations, including inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to achieve company goals.
• Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted resource for pet care solutions.
• Maintain company standards, policies, and procedures while creating a positive work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous retail management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and develop employees.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and sales performance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for pets and serving your community.

Salary includes base hourly rate plus incentive bonus and profit sharing bonus along with many benefits!

Benson's Pet Center currently has eight stores in the Capital region and Western Massachusetts with over 100 employees many of whom have been with the company for many years!
