Thursday/Friday/Saturday 6a-7p Cook
As a Kitchen Aide, you will support the kitchen team in various tasks. You will help prepare nutritious meals daily, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist in meal preparation. A Kitchen Aide will also assist in food deliveries, clean and organize the kitchen, and wash dishes. You will ensure that food is handled safely and that health and safety standards are maintained.
Compensation:$16 hourly
Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of nutritious meals, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of quality and taste.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting a safe and efficient workspace for the entire team.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate meal service, contributing to a seamless dining experience.
- Handle food deliveries with care, checking for quality and storing items appropriately to maintain freshness.
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment promptly, ensuring all items are ready for use when needed.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring all food handling and kitchen practices meet regulatory standards.
- Support the head chef and cooks in meal preparation, offering assistance wherever needed to enhance team productivity.
Qualifications:- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and productive kitchen environment.
- Proven track record of collaborating with team members to deliver timely and accurate meal service.
- Familiarity with health and safety guidelines, ensuring all food handling practices meet regulatory standards.
- Ability to handle food deliveries with care, checking for quality and storing items appropriately.
- Experience in washing dishes and kitchen equipment promptly, ensuring readiness for use.
- Strong communication skills, enabling you to support the head chef and cooks in meal preparation effectively.
About CompanyWe are a small memory care community in Molalla, Oregon, designed to care exclusively for those experiencing Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Our community consists of up to a maximum of 68 residents. We provide individualized care plans, which means each person will receive attentive and detailed care specific to their needs.
Our Bear Creek family has a full-time nurse as well as a care team able to assist with activities of daily living 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
