We are seeking a QC Technician-Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Part Testing using test fixtures and tensile tester
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Be able to inspect & measure parts using micrometers, calipers, Smart Scope, comparator, gage blocks, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Hand tools and equipment – ability to work with gauges, calipers, micrometers, scales, indicators, and other items necessary to complete the inspection of molded parts and components
- Experience in Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturing, or related industry is preferred
- The ability to work and communicate within a team, fast-paced environment
- Ability to read drawing/prints
- Have Geometric and drawing dimension comprehension training or certification is a plus
- Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Control
- MUST be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbally & written (bi-lingual helpful but not necessary)
