Shift & Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate
Local: $66 – $70/hour
Traveler: $74 – $78/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an acute behavioral health setting.
Required Qualifications
Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) Registration.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience within the past 2 years in a comparable acute care facility or trauma center.
Inpatient clinical experience with adult and adolescent psychiatric populations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an unblemished professional license.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric nursing care to child, adolescent, and adult patients in an acute behavioral health setting.
Perform mental health assessments, crisis interventions, and patient care planning.
Document clinical tracking, medication administration, and behavioral evaluations accurately in the EMR.
Maintain safety standards, therapeutic patient-to-staff ratios, and de-escalation protocols.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary mental health team, psychiatric providers, and family members.
Work flexible night shifts, including every other weekend and designated holidays.
