Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida in a contract role with permanent potential. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with billing operations, receivables, and account research while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support key financial activities, collaborate with internal partners, and help ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day billing activities and ensure invoices are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Review accounts receivable balances, investigate discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding items to support timely resolution.
• Perform research on payment and billing issues, identifying root causes and coordinating corrective action when needed.
• Reconcile bank activity against internal records and resolve variances to maintain accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and submit required billing or payment documentation to the appropriate external organizations in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records within financial systems, including Aderant and Costpoint, to support reporting and operational efficiency.
• Partner with internal teams and customer-facing contacts to address questions related to billing, payments, and account status.
• Contribute to process improvements that strengthen accuracy, compliance, and overall billing workflow performance.• Experience supporting billing operations and accounts receivable activities in a finance or accounting environment that requires strong attention to detail.
• Hands-on familiarity with bank reconciliations, account research, and resolving transaction discrepancies.
• Proficiency working with financial or billing platforms such as Aderant, Costpoint, or similar systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external contacts.
• Background in customer service or export customer service is beneficial for handling billing-related inquiries.
• Availability to work onsite in Boca Raton, Florida on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
