Role Summary
The Contract Project Manager owns client-facing site scoping and day-to-day project coordination for the Company's installation projects in the greater Miami area. This role is the primary on-site representative of the Company in front of clients, general contractors, and property stakeholders, and is responsible for translating general construction scopes including light electrical and plumbing tie-in work into well-managed, on-schedule project execution. The Contract Project Manager works closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep sites moving from initial scoping walk through installation and closeout.
Key Areas of Accountability
Client-Facing Site Scoping & Representation
- Represent the Company professionally and knowledgeably during client-facing site scoping walks and project meetings.
- Lead pre-construction site assessments to evaluate feasibility, access, utility availability, and installation requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, property managers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Construction Scope Review & Trade Coordination
- Review and interpret general construction scopes of work, identifying gaps, risks, or discrepancies before project kickoff.
- Coordinate light electrical and plumbing tie-in requirements with engineering vendors and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with code and site conditions.
- Manage GC and subcontractor scheduling, quality control, and site logistics from scoping through project closeout.
Project Tracking, Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Identify and proactively resolve site conditions, permitting issues, or scope changes that may impact project delivery.
- Document site visits with photos, notes, and scope summaries for internal records and client communication.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant building codes, safety standards, and the Company's quality expectations.
Other Duties as Assigned
- Support additional site walks, project activations, and ad-hoc coordination needs as they arise.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, general contracting, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of general construction scopes, sequencing, and terminology.
- Familiarity with light electrical and plumbing systems as they relate to fixture/equipment installations licensure not required, but hands-on trade knowledge is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently and professionally with clients, particularly in a client-facing, representational capacity.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and timelines concurrently.
- Comfortable conducting in-person site walks and assessments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Proficiency with standard project management and communication tools (e.g., email, scheduling software, photo/documentation apps).
- Based in or near Miami, FL strongly preferred, to minimize travel and enable rapid site response.
- Experience working with beverage, food service, hospitality, kiosks, EV charging, or facilities equipment projects and installations is a strong plus.
- Prior experience acting as a client-facing representative for a vendor or contractor is a plus.
- OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus given the South Florida market.

- Site scoping walks are conducted professionally and confidently, with clients and property stakeholders consistently viewing the Company as well-represented and responsive.
- Engineering and Construction scopes are reviewed thoroughly before kickoff, minimizing change orders, rework, and schedule slippage.
- Light electrical and plumbing coordination is handled proactively, keeping subcontractor work aligned with code and site conditions.
- Clients and property stakeholders receive clear, timely updates throughout the project lifecycle, not only at milestones or when issues arise.
- Projects move smoothly from scoping through installation and closeout, on schedule and within budget.
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be structured as a contract engagement. Rate to be discussed based on candidate qualifications and project scope.
