Injection Molding Press Operator

What you’ll do
- Run 3–4 injection molding presses at once, maintaining consistent output
- Load plastic material into machines as needed
- Monitor operations, responding to alarms and unusual sounds
- Inspect parts as they come off the press and remove any with defects (including flashing)
- Report quality concerns or equipment issues to a supervisor promptly
Quality checks you’ll perform
- Leak Test: Confirm lids do not leak
- Lift Test: Ensure lids open properly and meet durability standards
Safety & housekeeping
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
Schedule & pay
- 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3): alternating days off; weekends may be required
- Night Shift: 6:20 PM – 6:30 AM
- Rate: $20.35/hour
