Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Position patients, select appropriate imaging protocols, and adjust machine settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
- Ensure patient safety, maintain sterile technique, and follow ALARA principles
- Assist radiologists with image acquisition, documentation, and proper image labeling/archiving
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver efficient and accurate imaging services and respond to patient needs
Requirements
- Ability to participate in a travel assignment and work within a designated assignment period
- Competence in CT imaging and related radiographic procedures
