Job Description
The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Cincinnati and Accurpress brake presses to bend, form, or straighten sheet metal and metal plates. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate Cincinnati and Accurpress brake presses to fabricate metal components
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Perform quality checks using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools
Adjust machine settings based on material type and thickness
Verify finished parts meet required specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
Previous experience operating Cincinnati and/or Accurpress brake presses
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
