Responsible for the set-up and operation of various fabrication equipment, including routers, press brakes, deburring machines, metal saws, and lasers. This role involves reading blueprints and work orders to fabricate parts to specifications while maintaining safe operations and a clean, organized working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. The Machine Operator also maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs. Additionally, the role requires maintaining continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs, as well as safely operating material handling equipment such as cranes and fork/pallet trucks.

Work EnvironmentThe facility operates on two shifts: 1st Shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and 2nd Shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime worked as needed during the typical week. The shop is climate-controlled, and you will be part of a team of 80-90 full-time employees working in the facility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.30 - $34.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
