Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects.
  • Assist with project plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate with BIM/Design, Construction, Estimating, Operations, and other internal teams to support project goals.
  • Communicate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and client/owner representatives.
  • Assist with monitoring project schedules, budgets, costs, materials, and overall project progress.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify potential issues and coordinate resolutions.
  • Assist with material procurement, tracking, and delivery to ensure project schedules are maintained.
  • Help coordinate project activities between the office and field teams.
  • Assist with tracking project changes, commitments, and documentation.
  • Help identify and resolve technical, logistical, and project-related issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure project requirements and company procedures are followed.
  • Support the Project Manager in maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction, mechanical construction, project engineering, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience with a mechanical contractor, general contractor, or MEP construction environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project coordination, and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment with minimal supervision.
