Title: International Shipping Associate

Job Summary
The International Shipping Coordinator manages domestic and international shipments for Baxter customer orders, ensuring accurate documentation, timely delivery, and compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations. This role coordinates with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal warehouse teams to support smooth end-to-end shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and process international customer orders.
- Prepare and verify commercial invoices, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and export documentation.
- Coordinate and track shipments through air, sea, and ground carriers.
- Work with freight forwarders, FedEx, UPS, and other carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Review customer shipping instructions and provide shipment/tracking information.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), import/export requirements, and DOT regulations.
- Review products and determine applicable Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN).
- Create and modify customer invoices using Adobe Acrobat/Kofax.
- Identify and resolve carrier delays, shipping issues, and customs-related problems.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and support multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in international shipping, logistics, export/import, or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of customs documentation, Incoterms, HS codes, and export/import regulations.
- Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
- Experience with JD Edwards, FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, Adobe Acrobat, or Kofax is preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT and international shipping regulations is a plus.
- CES or IATA Dangerous Goods certification is preferred but not required.
