Cold Header Machine Operator – 2ndShift: Rockford, IL
We are seeking an experienced Cold Header Machine Operator to joinour client’smanufacturing team. This is a full-time, second-shift opportunity for an individual with hands-on fastener manufacturing experience who is confident setting up, operating, and troubleshooting cold heading equipment.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of cold headers(primarily 3/16 Hi-Pro machines)to consistently produce quality parts
- Maintaining accurate piece counts and minimizing scrap
- Perform regular quality inspections,
- Maintain machines and tooling
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, including minor preventative maintenance
- Follow established quality standards, work instructions, safety procedures, and production requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Education:High School Diploma or GED, required
- Experience:3+ years of fastener manufacturing experience & proficiency operating 3/16 Hi-Pro machines,required
- Knowledge:Fastener manufacturing processes, basic troubleshooting, and machine maintenance,required
- Ability:Read & interpret blueprints & technical drawings,required

Pay:$25.00 - $35.00+/hour, based on experience

Schedule:Monday –Thursday& possibility of OT on Fridays,5:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
