OVERVIEW
- Seeking a Customer Service Technician who will support both patient service operations and medical equipment delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, providing excellent customer service, and working independently in the field.
- The position involves delivering and setting up equipment, educating patients and caregivers, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting office-based customer service functions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Combination of office and field responsibilities
- Direct interaction with patients and referral sources
- Delivery, setup, and troubleshooting support for medical equipment
- Administrative and documentation responsibilities
- Ongoing coordination with local team members
- Regular driving throughout the assigned territory
- Every-other-week on-call rotation
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)
- Ability to pass applicable background screening and other employment requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
Preferred
- Medical equipment experience
- One year of related work experience
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Customer service experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and transport patient equipment weighing at least 65 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, speaking, and listening
- Driving for a significant portion of the workday
- Ability to read and review paperwork and digital information
- Exposure to patients and equipment in healthcare-related environments
- Compliance with respiratory protection and N95 fit-testing requirements
