Part-Time Direct Support Professional

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Union County.

About This Opportunity

This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.

• Provide support a 21-year-old nonverbal individual. She enjoys being entertained and going out in the community for shopping, movies, parks, and other fun activities. Must be comfortable supporting someone with higher needs. One dog in the home.

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.

• EXPERIENCE PREFERED

• DRIVING REQUIRED

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

Schedule: Tuesdays 7:30am - 2:00PM & Fridays 2:00PM - 9:00PM (Flexible)
Pay: 19-21/hr
Location: Livingston NJ, 07039
Driving on shift: REQUIRED
