Senior Program Manager, Direct-to-Consumer Operations

Location: Southfield, Michigan
Compensation: $100–$135k/year (based on proven work history)
Engagement: Six-month contract with potential for contract-to-direct

A day in the role

You step into a business unit focused on Direct-to-Consumer growth. Your mission: translate commercial and customer objectives into clear program strategies, then guide cross-functional teams in Operations to deliver new and existing product programs on time, on target, and on value. Before lunchtime, you’ve aligned with the Vice President of Sales on an improved evaluation method to measure program effectiveness and pinpoint where to optimize. In the afternoon, you’re reconciling risk logs, updating stakeholders with accurate status reports, and facilitating forecast readouts with the S&OP team. By day’s end, a customer issue has surfacedyou partner with Commercial and Customer Service to drive a fast, durable resolution.

What you will lead
  • Shape program objectives and plans that align to commercial priorities and customer commitments.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Sales to design and refine an evaluation approach that highlights strengths and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal and external activities to achieve milestones within defined timelines while meeting customer requirements.
  • Publish timely, precise program status updates, including needs, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Build and maintain program documentation that supports execution and governance.
  • Facilitate forecasting report-outs with the S&OP team and ensure actions are tracked.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Customer Service teams to quickly resolve customer issues.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of program management experience, with a record of prioritizing and delivering multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Background in the bedding/mattress space is a plus.
  • Collaborative, positive communicator able to work across diverse teams and disciplines.
  • Strong Microsoft proficiency; SAP/ERP familiarity is advantageous.
