Pay Rate: $74.40 / Hour
Job Type: 12 Month W2 Contract
Role Type: Hybrid - 1 to 2 Days On-Site Per Week

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Developer / Engineer to lead and execute complex enterprise infrastructure deliverables from initiation through closure. In this role, you will play a critical part in orchestrating large-scale deployments, data center migrations, and hardware refresh initiatives while ensuring the high availability and performance of mission-critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project & Delivery Leadership: Lead enterprise infrastructure deliverables across the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with networking, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Data Center Operations: Plan, coordinate, and deliver large-scale compute and storage deployments, migrations, and refresh initiatives.
  • Architecture & Troubleshooting: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise networking components, ensuring robust performance across complex data center layouts.
  • Problem Resolution: Assist in rapid troubleshooting for complex network and equipment issues using advanced monitoring tools.

Technical Qualifications & Requirements

  • Core Infrastructure & Virtualization:
    • Strong understanding of server, virtualization, storage, and networking technologies and their interdependencies within complex data center environments.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise compute, storage, and infrastructure platforms supporting mission-critical applications.
  • Networking & Protocols:
    • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, F5 LTM/GTM, SSH, VPNs, and IPv4/IPv6 (mandatory).
    • Strong command of IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, and MPLS.
    • Deep understanding of IP addressing, IP traffic management, NTP, security, and network monitoring frameworks.
  • Network Security & Traffic Management:
    • Configure and troubleshoot QoS, VLANs, and ACLs.
    • Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Netflow, SolarWinds, and application response time monitoring tools.
  • Hardware & Architecture:
    • Extensive hands-on experience working in data center network environments with a strong focus on Leaf & Spine architecture.
    • Strong working experience with Juniper and Arista hardware switches.
    • Experience with HPE Aruba, 3Com, H3C, and firewall platforms including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint.
  • Modern Networking Trends:
    • Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN products/services.
    • Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and physical network facilities.
