Location: Le Center, MN

Assignment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Pay: $65,000–$85,000 annually

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday; full-time schedule with occasional flexibility to come in early or stay later to support employees across shifts

Job Description:

We are seeking a bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations at a fully onsite manufacturing facility. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will serve as a key resource for employees while supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.

The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This person will have the opportunity to introduce new processes, improve existing workflows, and make the role their own while helping bring employees together and strengthen the culture at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and company programs.
  • Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, resume reviews, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Coordinate with temporary staffing partners regarding staffing requests, assignments, onboarding, timekeeping, and invoicing.
  • Process employee changes and maintain accurate HR records and HRIS information.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system entries, and orientations.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, leave questions, and payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, HR databases, and HRIS records.
  • Support compliance efforts through audits, reporting, and documentation in accordance with federal and state employment requirements.
  • Assist with employee relations by documenting concerns and facilitating communication.
  • Prepare recurring headcount, attendance, and other HR reports.
  • Participate in HR process improvements and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of HR experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English or English/Somali.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; UKG experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

Additional Details:

  • Fully onsite position.
  • Manufacturing environment with multiple shifts.
  • Training will be provided alongside the current HR Manager.
  • This role will interact regularly with employees across different shifts.
  • Candidates should be comfortable periodically adjusting their schedule to support shift employees.
