Attorney

Position Summary
\tWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Attorney for our client with at least 3 years of legal experience in general litigation and family law.
\tKey Responsibilities
\tManage a caseload involving general litigation and family law matters.
\tConduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
\tRepresent clients in court hearings, conferences, mediations, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
\tHandle matters involving divorce, custody, child support, parenting time, domestic relations, and related family-law issues.
\tHandle general civil litigation matters, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, negotiation, and trial preparation.
\tDevelop case strategies based on applicable laws, facts, and client objectives.
\tConduct and respond to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
\tRequired Qualifications
\tJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
\t3+ years of experience practicing law, with experience in both general litigation and family law.
\tActive license and good standing with the applicable State Bar.
\tStrong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and family law.
\tExcellent legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
\tExperience with court appearances, hearings, motions, discovery, and negotiations.
\tStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
\tAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a legal team.

Preferred Qualifications

\tTrial and courtroom experience.
\tExperience handling family law cases from intake through resolution.
\tStrong negotiation and settlement skills.
\tExperience managing a high-volume caseload.
\tProficiency with legal research databases and case management software.
