Software Engineers and Engineering Managers (No Clearance Required)

Task Force Talent is recruiting software engineers at all levels, engineering managers, and technical product and data roles for venture-backed software companies. These companies sell to commercial and government customers. Openings are in Vienna, Virginia.

Salary range: $120K to $250K, depending on experience level.

Full-time, in-office in Northern Virginia (Tysons, Vienna, and Arlington area).

Open to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents. No clearance required for most roles; some roles require eligibility for a clearance. We cannot sponsor visas.

The work:

• Build backend, distributed, and full stack systems.
• Work on databases, systems programming, and data platforms.
• Lead and grow engineering teams (manager roles).

Qualifications:

• Strong computer science fundamentals. Candidates must pass algorithm and system design interviews.
• Experience in languages such as Rust, C++, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, or operating systems is a plus.
• Engineering manager roles require prior hands-on engineering and at least 2 years of management.
