Operations Manager

Job Summary

Dakota Kustomz is seeking a full-time Operations Manager with a strong financial background that is analytical, highly organized and can take ownership of the financial health of our business. Acting as the right hand to the General Manager, you will oversee accounting workflows, workforce safety programs, HR administration, and event planning. The ideal candidate blends high-level financial oversight with direct operational leadership, aligning perfectly with our reputation for elite craftsmanship across car and truck restorations, custom motorcycles, mechanical work, and full-service body shop operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight & Accounting:

Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions (accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations). Prepare financial reports, forecast business needs, and support the General Manager with overarching budget management. Hours are 7am-5pm with occasional evenings and weekends for events and as needed to manage workload.

• Human Resources & Talent Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, offboarding, coordinate with benefits representative, and process payroll.
• Workforce Safety & Compliance: Develop, implement, and report on workforce safety programs. Ensure strict adherence to OSHA or relevant safety standards and manage any incident reporting.
• Operational & Event Logistics: Direct the planning for company events, promotional activities, and large-scale projects.
• Administrative Leadership: Create and distribute agendas for managers' meetings. Design, implement, and maintain up-to-date company forms, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational documents.
• General Manager Support: Function as a strategic partner for the General Manager, stepping in to optimize workflows and resolve daily operational bottlenecks.
