About the job
The Electrical Test Operator sets up and operates test equipment to ensure products meet
electrical specifications and quality standards.
We're looking for someone who
Has a high school diploma or equivalent work experience
Has 2+ years of electrical testing experience in the printed circuit board industry
Knows electrical testing, including ohm values, continuity, isolation, and
impedance
Is familiar with IPC 9252
Can read, write, speak, and understand English
Has basic computer skills
Can use a microscope
Can read and understand blueprints and specifications
Pays close attention to detail and performs work accurately
Can follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
What you'll do
Set up and operate jobs on electrical test machines
Test products to ensure they meet electrical specifications and quality standards
Perform electrical testing related to ohm values, continuity, isolation, and impedance
Review blueprints, specifications, and testing requirements
Use microscopes and computer systems as needed during testing
Follow established testing procedures and instructions
Identify and communicate testing issues or results that do not meet specifications
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the testing process
Work collaboratively with the Quality Control team and other departments as needed
