Job Description:
As a Residential Aide, you play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your responsibilities span nursing-related tasks, housekeeping, laundry, and resident activities, all delivered with respect, compassion, and a commitment to maintaining independence and dignity.You will support residents according to their individual care plans, helping them meet their physical, emotional, and social needs in a homelike setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily personal care (dressing, undressing, hygiene, bathing)
- Administer and monitor medications; manage supplies and complete documentation
- Perform laundry services (wash, dry, distribute clean laundry, collect dirty items)
- Help with mobility and safe transfers
- Support the kitchen (serve meals, wash dishes, clean and reset)
- Encourage participation in resident activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Perform light housekeeping (empty trash, clean bathrooms, make and change beds)
- Record vital signs and weights
- Exemplary attendance is essential to your role and team
Requirements/Qualifications:- High school diploma or 3+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Ability to support residents with dignity, compassion, and respect
- EducationHigh School Diploma/GED
- ExperienceMid Level (3-6 years)
