Job Description

Responsible for assembling and inspecting electronic, electrical, and/or connector components according to established specifications, drawings, and quality standards. The position requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical and electronic components, connectors, cables, and related products using hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, diagrams, and assembly procedures.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet Amphenol's quality and performance standards.
  • Perform tasks such as crimping, inserting terminals, soldering, cutting, stripping, and routing wires when required.
  • Operate basic production equipment and hand tools safely and correctly.
  • Identify defective components or assembly issues and report them to the appropriate supervisor or quality personnel.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Meet established production goals while maintaining product quality.
  • Keep the workstation clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
  • Follow company safety procedures, manufacturing standards, and applicable quality requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of a production team and communicate problems or concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or electronics experience is helpful but may not always be required.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and basic technical drawings.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use small hand tools and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and perform physical production duties for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
