**Role : **CNC Machinist/Programmer

**Location: **Fredonia, WI

**Work Type: **Full-time | Onsite

Job Summary

Seeking a technically skilled CNC 5 Axis Programmer / Manufacturing Technology Specialist with strong experience in SolidWorks and 4+1 / 5-axis CNC programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, problem-solving, collaborating with engineering and shop teams, and converting concepts into finished products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize G-code programs for 5-axis machining centers.

  • Create and modify CNC programs using SolidWorks and related manufacturing software.

  • Support machining operations by troubleshooting programming and production challenges.

  • Collaborate with engineers and shop personnel to improve manufacturing processes.

  • Apply technical expertise while learning and supporting additional manufacturing technologies.

  • Assist with advanced manufacturing processes, including CNC machining and additive manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with 4+1 and 5-axis CNC programming required.

  • Significant experience with SolidWorks required.

  • Experience with Mastercam programming preferred.

  • Knowledge of CNC machining processes and manufacturing technology.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams.

  • Experience working with CAD/CAM systems and manufacturing software.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Technical Environment

Technologies and equipment used :

  • SolidWorks and Mastercam programing

  • CNC machining and 3D printing, CNC fabric cutting nesting

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Power BI

  • AI programming tools, including Claude

  • Industrial sewing and assembly

  • RF and heat welding, Metal welding, Vulcanizing and molding
