Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize warehouse space and workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve any logistics-related issues.
- Utilize warehouse management software to track shipments and manage inventory data.
- Assist in training new staff on warehouse procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.
