About the Role: Van Buren Golf Center LLC in Riverside, CA is looking for a passionate and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance and agronomic operations of our facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a turf professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional playing conditions and a beautiful course experience for every golfer.

Responsibilities:- Oversee all daily golf course maintenance operations, including turf management, irrigation, and landscaping
- Develop and implement agronomic programs for tees, fairways, greens, and rough areas
- Manage, schedule, and train grounds crew and maintenance staff
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water management and conservation
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in compliance with local and state regulations
- Manage departmental budget, equipment maintenance, and supply procurement
- Coordinate course setup and preparation for tournaments, events, and daily play
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of turfgrass agronomy, soil science, and integrated pest management (IPM)
- California Qualified Applicator License (QAL) or ability to obtain one preferred
- Experience managing and leading a grounds maintenance team
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, scheduling software, and course management tools
- GCSAA membership or Golf Course Management certification is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
