Job Title: Carpenter

Responsibilities

  • Assemble wood wall panels, roof trusses, and floor systems according to blueprints and production drawings.
  • Measure, cut, position, and secure lumber and building materials.
  • Operate hand tools, pneumatic nail guns, saws, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain production quotas while following all safety procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and work orders.
  • Assist with material handling, staging, and loading finished products for shipment.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in carpentry, construction, and framing.
  • Experience with windows, concrete, and finish carpentry.
  • Ability to follow instructions from blueprints and drawings.
  • Skillful use of a nail gun and tape measure.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Thrives in production environments with great attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in carpentry or related fields.
  • Good history of reliability and attendance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
