The Order Picker packages small parts used in side-view mirrors for semi trucks and large recreational vehicles. This role focuses on accurately inspecting, counting, weighing, and packaging components to complete customer orders, while maintaining precise inventory records and using computer systems to process and label shipments. You will work at a waist-high conveyor, preparing boxes and moving them down the line once orders are complete.
ResponsibilitiesYou join a close-knit, family-oriented company where long-tenured employees and newer team members work together in a supportive environment. The workplace offers yearly raises and clear opportunities to move into one of several different positions, each with additional pay increases, giving you room to grow your career. You have the option to join a union, receive individual recognition at the end of every shift, and enjoy a fun culture that includes music while working, social events such as game outings and tailgates, and celebrations when goals are achieved. Once hired, you receive dedicated sick time and vacation, with additional vacation weeks awarded as your years of service increase, supporting strong work-life balance.
Work EnvironmentThis role is on first shift, working from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with no overtime expected while on contract. You work in a clean, organized warehouse environment focused on picking, packing, and shipping rather than high-speed production, so noise levels remain low. The facility can be warm in the summer but is generally comfortable. You will be part of a team of approximately 20 workers across production, warehouse, maintenance, and operations. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable, with music played during work and the option to listen to your own music, while maintaining appropriate attire for a warehouse setting and following all safety guidelines.
