Why Work Here?
You join a small, close-knit team where the headcount at the site remains intentionally low, creating a more personal and collaborative atmosphere. The culture is relaxed and low-key, allowing you to focus on your craft without a high-pressure environment. The compressed weekend schedule offers concentrated workdays with extended time off during the week, supporting work-life balance and flexibility.
Work Environment
This role is based in a machine shop housed within a converted office building, creating a unique blend of office-style space and industrial equipment. The facility can be loud due to multiple machines running at the same time, and you should be comfortable working in an active production environment. The position follows a weekend shift schedule of Friday through Sunday on a 3x12 format, with typical hours of either 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You work on the shop floor alongside a small group of machinists across first and second shifts, using CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinders, and centerless grinding equipment to produce precision components
