About the Role: Owen Motor Group Inc is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in Marshall, IL! Responsibilities:- Greet customers and conduct thorough vehicle write-ups to assess service needs and concerns
- Communicate repair recommendations, service timelines, and cost estimates clearly to customers
- Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize and schedule repair orders efficiently
- Provide status updates to customers throughout the repair and maintenance process
- Upsell recommended maintenance services and manufacturer-suggested repairs
- Process invoices, handle customer payments, and close repair orders accurately
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements:- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive customer-facing role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance services, and vehicle systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of service appointments in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with dealer management software (DMS) is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a team-first attitude
