When a child goes missing from a park, the first few minutes decide how the day ends. Fusus is built for those minutes. It brings cameras, body-worn video, license plate reader data, investigative systems, and other sensors into one shared picture, so officers, responders, and security teams can see what is happening and act when every second matters. It is a powerful expression of Axon's mission to Protect Life.

The camera that helps find that child also records every other family in the park. Fusus is only as valuable as the trust behind it: who is in the system, who gets access and when, and how every use of sensitive information is accounted for.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager II to build that trust foundation. You will work from first principles across identity, tenant models, roles and permissions, access lifecycle, cross-organization collaboration, audit, and oversight, as Fusus grows beyond public safety into retail, healthcare, logistics, and international markets. The hard part is making responsible access feel natural in high-stakes moments while earning the confidence of the communities those moments serve.

Success looks like this. The people protecting a school, a grocery store, or a highway get the access they need in seconds, and the families on the other side of the camera can count on it being used ethically, responsibly, and with empathy.

What You'll Work On

You'll own the product strategy and roadmap for the trust and identity foundation of Fusus: the system that decides who can see sensitive community information, and keeps every access accountable.

  • Identity, authentication, federation, and provisioning across Fusus
  • Models for organizations, tenants, teams, users, and groups that reflect how law enforcement, business owners, and community governments are structured
  • Roles, permissions, policy evaluation, delegation, and access lifecycle management
  • Safe collaboration across agencies, businesses, and public-private partnerships
  • Audit and oversight that show who accessed or changed sensitive information, what they did, and whether it followed policy, with a reliable history for investigations and compliance
  • Administrative experiences that make responsible behavior the easiest path
  • Shared platform services so product teams build on one trust model without duplicating it
  • A common foundation for public safety, enterprise, healthcare, retail, logistics, and international customers

You'll work directly with the people who run these systems to understand high-stakes access and accountability workflows, then turn what you learn into clear product principles, a coherent roadmap, and measurable outcomes. Engineering, Design, Security, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and customer-facing teams are your partners in balancing urgent needs against durable platform choices.

What Success Looks Like
  • Sensitive information reaches the right people, for the right reasons, with clear limits and accountability
  • Every access change and administrative action is reliably auditable
  • Agencies, businesses, and community governments can onboard and manage their organizations with confidence
  • Collaboration across organizations is safe, scalable, and easy to understand
  • Shared trust capabilities reduce duplication and improve consistency across Fusus teams
  • Appropriate access, secure adoption, policy compliance, incident reduction, and customer and community confidence improve over time
Required Qualifications
  • 8-12 years of product management experience, including direct ownership of a technical platform or similarly complex domain
  • Experience in identity, authorization, enterprise administration, security, privacy, governance, or adjacent high-stakes systems
  • Fluency with principals, resources, actions, roles and policies, tenant boundaries, delegation, lifecycle, policy evaluation, and auditability
  • A first-principles approach to platform design that supports very different organizational structures, beyond extending one inherited access model
  • Specific examples of architecture tradeoffs made with Engineering, and how you explained their customer, security, operability, and migration impact
  • A record of shipping user-centered product outcomes, beyond governance, compliance, or program execution
  • Evidence that direct user research changed your problem framing, roadmap, or product behavior
  • Sound judgment in regulated or sensitive environments such as public safety, healthcare, finance, or enterprise
  • Cross-functional influence and comfort making durable decisions amid ambiguity
  • The ability to hold urgency, usability, privacy, security, and accountability in one product frame

Technical choices in this work reach people who will never see the software: a parent at school pickup, a shop owner closing up at night. You move easily between field workflows and system architecture, and you can make complex trust concepts simple enough for anyone to act on quickly and responsibly.
