Pharmacist - Madison, Wisconsin

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support pharmacy operations at an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Madison, WI. This facility specializes in advanced rehabilitative care for patients recovering from stroke, spinal-cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic cases, and more, offering an enriching environment to apply and expand your pharmacy expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in an acute/long-term acute care (LTAC) rehabilitation setting
• Utilize electronic health records and automated dispensing systems, specifically EPIC and Omnicell, for medication management
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy and patient safety
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility policies regarding pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in Wisconsin (WI) is mandatory
• Minimum of 1+ year experience in acute care or LTAC pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system and Omnicell automated dispensing systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday day shifts
• Contract duration of 13 weeks or longer
• Immediate start available
