Integrity Trade Services is hiring aQuality Control Specialistfor our Welding/Fabricationclient to startimmediately,starting at $18/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities:
Ensures products meet industry, company, and consumer expectations.Responsibilities include:
- Checking all parts, weldments, machine parts for accuracy
- Measuring specifications of items in each production run
- Monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing products
- Examining manufacturing processes and operational techniques
- Following up with updated processes to avoid future defects
- Operating electronic inspection equipment and software
- Accepting or rejecting finished items
- Removing products that do not meet specifications
- Reporting inspection and test data
- First Article Documentation- For any new part we create (certain customers), we require a 100% inspection of every detail on the print as well as document each process throughout the shop.(Training provided)
- Non-Conforming Procedure- If we get any reject parts. Start a rework process through our CRM system. Required to do 8D documentation to understand what caused the problem and what we can do to rectify the problem from happening again. Provide training to personnel where the problem occurred.(Training provided)
Location:New Albany, IN
Schedule/Shift Details:
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00am-3:30pm
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read drawings.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Must have Quality Control experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge:- Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, PDF creation.
- Basic computer understanding and typing. Server File organization.
