Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:45 PM - 7:00 AM
Pay: $19.80/hr + 7% Shift Differential
The Ink Technician supports press operations by preparing, mixing, handling, and maintaining inks, adhesives, primers, and lacquers used throughout production.
ResponsibilitiesMix and prepare inks for production runs
Prepare adhesives, primers, and lacquers as needed
Supply materials to press operators
Monitor material availability and usage
Maintain a clean and organized ink room
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Identify hazardous waste materials
Dispose of hazardous waste in designated containers
Label containers with proper hazard information
Handle production materials safely and accurately
Complete assigned tasks and support production needs
Perform additional duties as directed by leadership
Previous machine operation experience required
Ink room experience preferred but not required
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong math skills
Ability to work with ratios, fractions, percentages, multiplication, and division
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Reliable attendance and dependability
Ability to work independently and on a team
Ability to move 400 lb. drums using a drum dolly
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and balance throughout the shift
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Comfortable working around production equipment
Willingness to work in loud environments
Ability to wear required PPE
