Atom Computing is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to drive innovation at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and advanced computing. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and maintain the systems and networks that power our cutting-edge quantum computing environment. You’ll work across both on-premises and cloud infrastructureensuring reliability, scalability, and performance through thoughtful automation and robust security practices.
As a key member of the IT organization reporting to the Director of IT, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, physicists, and developers to enable seamless operation of research and corporate systems. This position requires both technical depth and a hands-on approach to system design, deployment, and lifecycle management. Your work will directly support the mission of building the world’s most advanced quantum computers.
Due to the nature of on-prem infrastructure, this role is required to be in the office in Boulder at least 3 days per week.

The base salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $155,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we offer an annual bonus and incentive stock options for equity in the company.
