Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experiencedIntensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurseto join our dynamic critical care team inFort Walton Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments. Responsibilities:
- Serve as a patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity, and understanding throughout the care process
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and medications
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate individualized plans of care
- Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement and evidence-based practice
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and hospital policy standards
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of1 year of recent (within last 3 years)acute care experience in ER,ICU, orCVICU
- PCU/IMCUnurseswith2+ years of experiencemay also be considered
Education:Associate Degree required;BSNpreferred
Licensure:
- ActiveFlorida RN licenseorCompact State RN license(must apply for FL license before start)
- RNswith3+ years of experience and a Compact Licensemay proceed immediately (must still apply for FL license)
- RNswithless than 3 years of experiencemust pass theNCLEXin Floridaprior to consideration if not already licensed
- Certifications:
- BLS– required
- ACLS– within 6 months of hire
- NonviolentCrisis Intervention (CPI)– within 90 days of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)– within 90 days of hire
- CCRNpreferred

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range:$26.40 – $39.60 per hour (based on experience)
- $36.30/hr (approx. 10 years’ experience)
- $39.60/hr (approx. 18+ years’ experience)
- Shift Differentials:
- Nights: +$4.25/hr
- Specialty: +$1.50/hr
- Sign-On Bonus:$10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights)
- Relocation Assistance:Case-by-case basis
