Job Summary:
Chips Bar is looking for a friendly and reliable Bartender to join our team in a casual, fast-paced bar environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, can multitask, and provides excellent customer service while preparing and serving drinks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check IDs and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory as needed
- Work as part of a team to create a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements:
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol in Illinois
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
