Job Title: Cath Lab Radiological Technologist
Location: Cynthiana, KY
Rate: Up to $3,300 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts
Contract: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements:
- Cath Lab experience required
- Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Experience operating X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment
- Experience with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring
- Experience maintaining sterile technique and following radiation safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Local and travel candidates accepted
Certifications:
- ARRT certification required
- BLS required
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other cardiovascular procedures
- Operate specialized imaging equipment, including X-ray and fluoroscopy systems
- Assist physicians and the cardiovascular team during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist with devices such as balloons, stents, and catheters as directed
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic parameters
- Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols
- Assist with vascular access, EKGs, and cardioversions as needed
