Job Description

Job Description

Mancini Carter, PC is seeking an associate attorney to join its growing litigation, land use, and real estate practice in Providence, Rhode Island. This opportunity seeks to provide litigators and land use attorneys with a platform to work directly with Mancini Carter’s litigation and land use team while developing their own skills and knowledge base in a manner which also provides them with the support of a seasoned legal team. Our firm offers an opportunity for attorneys to focus on the actual legal work to become better lawyers rather than bog them down with the administrative tasks and rigidness of big firms. We are looking for a new attorney to join and grow with our legal team.

Our firm is a great opportunity for associates who want to take the next step and be given the opportunity to be entrusted with more time in court rather than being stuck strictly handling the drafting and research side of the business, and/or more time handling municipal board hearings, working with more complex and interesting real estate and litigation matters, and generally being provided with more responsibility and work reflective of an attorney.

The ideal candidate will have two to five years of civil litigation experience, including matters involving real estate, land use, corporate and business law, and general commercial disputes. Experience with the acquisition, disposition, permitting, and financing of residential and commercial real estate is also preferred. Candidates must be admitted to practice in Rhode Island; admission in Massachusetts is a plus. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and the firm offers a competitive benefits package.

Mancini Carter is a growing, collaborative Providence-based law firm serving clients in real estate, business, construction, and land use matters.
