Measure Technician – Continental Siding

Pay: $40,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience and skills

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Full-Time: 40 hours per week | Occasional nights & weekends

Continental Siding is looking for a high-detail, process-oriented individual to join our team as a Measure Technician.

This role is ideal for someone who notices the little things, follows procedures, double-checks their work, and takes ownership of getting the job done correctly.

What You'll Do

• Perform in-field service assessments
• Accurately measure residential window and exterior remodeling projects
• Measure homes ranging from 1 to 3 stories
• Measure windows, siding, soffit, fascia, shutters, gutters, and related exterior products
• Prepare detailed work orders defining the scope of each project
• Create accurate material lists
• Enter project information into project management software
• Verify measurements and project details for accuracy
• Communicate completed project information to the appropriate departments
• Erect and dismantle ladders, scaffolding, braces, and other temporary structures as needed
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Coordinate with multiple departments to keep projects moving
• Complete other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of siding and/or window installation experience
• Strong residential construction knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail and measuring skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Highly organized and able to follow established processes
• Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office programs
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license
• Must be insurable under company vehicle insurance
• Ability to drive long distances in a company vehicle

Construction Experience

A strong understanding of residential construction is important, including:

• Building materials
• Construction methods
• Installation processes
• Tools and equipment
• Residential exterior remodeling

Experience with windows, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, or similar exterior products is highly valued.
