Logistics, Energy & Manufacturing Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join a nationally recognized firm’s Logistics, Energy & Manufacturing Litigation Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator looking to take on meaningful responsibility in sophisticated matters while gaining experience in a practice with national reach.

The attorney will work on an active and varied federal and state court docket, with opportunities to handle substantive litigation responsibilities including depositions, discovery, and motion practice. Transportation litigation experience is strongly preferred, while experience involving tort matters, motor carrier defense, and insurance coverage disputes is a significant plus.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of litigation experience

• Transportation litigation experience strongly preferred

• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Louisiana Bar admission required
