CNC Machinist / Programmer

The Machinist plays a crucial role in manufacturing by setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery including CNC, combination, and manual machines. Working primarily within a small team during flexible day shifts, this role demands a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety procedures to ensure precision and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery according to specifications and blueprints
• Operate CNC, combination, and manual machines safely and efficiently
• Handle materials throughout the production process
• Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues promptly
• Adjust tooling to maintain product quality
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to work overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of machining experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNC machine operation skills
• Knowledgeable with Fanuc controls
• Proficient with CAD systems - specifically Fusion 360
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of safety procedures
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good time management skills
