Print Logistic, Inc. is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations, with a primary focus on supervising the print line and ensuring overall production runs efficiently throughout the shift.
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for keeping the print line organized and productive, monitoring workflow across production, supporting production employees, and ensuring daily production goals are met. This individual will work closely with our Operations & Production Manager and other members of management to address production needs, staffing concerns, quality issues, and workflow challenges.
We are looking for someone who can confidently lead a production team while maintaining a strong understanding of what is happening across the entire production floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise employees working on the print production line.
- Oversee the overall production floor and monitor workflow throughout the shift.
- Ensure the print line remains organized, productive, and on schedule.
- Assign employees to production stations based on workload and operational needs.
- Monitor production volume, efficiency, quality, and completion of daily orders.
- Ensure jobs move efficiently through each stage of the production process.
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks, staffing shortages, equipment concerns, or other issues that could impact production.
- Work with employees and management to resolve production issues quickly.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to procedures.
- Provide coaching, training, and daily direction to production employees.
- Assist with training new employees on production processes and expectations.
- Ensure employees follow established quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain clear communication between the print line, other production areas, and management.
- Provide management with updates regarding production progress, staffing, equipment issues, and operational concerns.
- Help ensure production deadlines and customer order requirements are consistently met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase production efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a production, printing, manufacturing, fulfillment, or similar environment strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Lead, Supervisor, Production Supervisor, or Management role within a production, manufacturing, printing, warehouse, or similar environment required.
- Experience supervising a production line or production employees preferred.
- Printing, apparel printing, DTG, DTF, heat press, or related production experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple production priorities at once.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to identify workflow problems and take appropriate action.
- Comfortable providing direction, coaching employees, and maintaining accountability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume production environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to remain active and present on the production floor throughout the shift.
