Boarhog will hire qualified Application Systems Integration (ASI) Engineers (ASI IE) as valued members of the team responsible for providing detailed integration solution analysis during the ASI Process and the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) of the CANES Hosted and Connected Systems Integration Manual (HACSIM) in support of the Naval Information Warfare Systems Center (NIWC) Pacific Transport and Computing Infrastructure (TCI) Portfolio that requires networking, communication, and computer systems, and associated certification and information assurance for the development, current operations and planned upgrades for the Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Elaboration of integration requirements initially gathered by the Application Engineer
- Act as liaison between Network POR Systems Engineering/tester and application provider
- Develop integration solutions and prepare Network POR design documentation, such as the HACSIM (CANES) to include all updates and development of the HACSIM pre and post test as well as fleet HACSIM updates
- Support application/system testing in lab and mitigate any integration issues
- Participate in technical reviews and assist in development/revision of specifications, Specification Change Notices (SCN), Ship Change Documents (SCD), Request for Changes (RFC), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Fleet Readiness Certification Boards (FRCB), Field Changes (FCs)
- Maintain and validate engineering mockups of tactical network systems
- Documenting repeatable processes and procedures for integratoins
- Automating these processes using PowerShell and Ansible along with Git/BitBucket for script and configuration data management.
- Identify areas for improvement, innovation, simplification and subsequently take the lead on executing on those plans.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, Systems Engineering, etc.

- Five (5) years of professional experience
- OpenShift containerization
- Powershell
- Ansible
- Terraform or other Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Python
- CANES
- Integration with tactical data feeds
- Multicast Video
- Integration points: Active Directory and OpenAM, MS Exchange, VMWare, AWS, OpenShift, MS Systems Center solutions, System Incident and Events Management, IIS, JBOSS, Cisco Integrated Services Engine, and Group Policy Management.

- Must possess a DoD Secret Clearance
