Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM | Monday – Friday | 30-Minute Unpaid Lunch

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide individualized speech and language therapy to middle school students with diverse communication and learning needs.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Valid Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, as applicable to the role.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility according to employer requirements.
Knowledge of articulation disorders, language development, and evidence-based therapy techniques.
Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Experience providing speech and language therapy to school-aged children preferred.
Experience supporting students with autism and other developmental or learning disabilities is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and small-group speech and language therapy.
Deliver push-in and pull-out therapy based on students’ needs and educational goals.
Support students with autism, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, specific learning disabilities, and other health impairments.
Develop and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans.
Assess students’ speech, language, articulation, and communication skills.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals.
Adapt therapy strategies to students’ abilities and learning profiles.
Support functional communication across classroom and educational settings.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress reviews.
